Where to sleep in Ho Chi Minh?
If this is your first stop in Vietnam, and you’re a bit scared of the hygiene you’re going to find, I recommend you start off in a decent hotel, while you get used to the Vietnamese life.
In our ocasion, we wanted to explore the city using as few transport as possible. This is why we looked for an hotel in district 4, which is only 2 minutes away from district 1 (where many cultural sites are).
Infinity Edge Pool View Hotel, Ho Chi Minh, is the place where we stayed for 3 days. The name of this hotel says it all! It has an amazing infinity pool with views over the city. We rented an apartment for 3 people that was a bit small, only 1 full size bed and a sofa for 2. Everything was very clean and there was lots of ammenities for the kitchen and bottled water ready for us.
The Hotel has some facilities that I need to point out because they are amazing. I'm talking about the gym and the pool. The gym has the basic machines for you to work out, and free bottled water, but the best are the views over the city!
The other facility that will amaze you is the pool! If you're a photographer, instagrammer, blogger or just passionate for a good shot, this pool will do it!. The photo below is not really descriptive of the pool, as there was an area where you coud lay down and have a drink while overlooking to the city.
The hotel is really close to several places of interest like: Ben Thanh Street Food Market, Union Square, Fine Arts Museum and many others. All these places are only 1km, or less, away.
If you want to eat something "normal", by normal I mean something you remember from your home town, you can just walk 10 minutes and you'll be in an area full of restaurants at a very good price, like everything in Vietnam!
I hope you've enjoyed this story!
See you around!
