Bangalore is the capital of India's southern Karnataka state. The center of India's high-tech industry, the city is also known for its parks and nightlife.
I was in Bangalore for a business trip and only had a day off to explore what the city had to offer,
So I woke early and had a nice south-Indian breakfast with watermelon juice to start the day right.

I then headed out to see the Bangalore Palace, It was built in 1944 and still is so maintained, the architecture and design is very unique consisting of walls with plants swirling down them. Bangalore Palace is one of the must-see places in Bangalore if you are a fan of architecture and history. The private residence of the Wodeyars, erstwhile maharajas of the state, Bangalore Palace preserves a slice of royal splendor. If you’re in Bangalore, this attraction should be at the top of your itinerary.
A total of 35 rooms were built in the palace with most of them being bedrooms. The stained glass and mirrors were imported from England, besides a manual lift and wooden fans.
The ground floor consists of an open courtyard containing granite seats covered with fluorescent blue ceramic tiles. It also contains a ballroom for holding private parties. The first floor, containing an elaborate hall known as the Durbar Hall, can be reached by climbing a decorated staircase. This is a sprawling hall where the king used to address the assembly. The walls along the staircase are adorned with paintings and the Durbar Hall has a massive elephant head mounted in it.
There is a room that has been converted into a boutique where silks and other garments used by the royal family will be exhibited.

The charges to use a professional camera or a drone were insanely high, but somehow I still managed to get a decent drone shot, although I don’t advise you to do as it would be an unnecessary hassle if any of the guards saw you.

After having caught the perfect shot of the palace with my camera, I headed back to my hotel to chill by the pool a bit as the weather couldn’t have be better.

After having spent quite a while out, chilling by the pool, I went out later in the evening to check out the best clubs that the city had to offer and I ended up at this ultra high lounge which is a Slick modern venue with far-reaching views over the city, a full bar and a varied, pan-Asian menu.
