Pushkar is a town bordering the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian state of Rajasthan. It's set on Pushkar Lake, a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats (stone staircases) where pilgrims bathe. The town has hundreds of temples.
It's also one of the holiest cities of India,
My friend and I decided on paying it a visit and have the first hand experience of its vibe.
As peaceful as it can get, has so good food in every cafe of Pushkar and the city is full of old historic architecture and hippie markets.

Every step that we took in the center of the city, It seemed like an opportunity for a great photo and unique frame and if you are patience enough, you would get elements to capture an epic photo just like one above.
We visited 4 temples the first day and each one had a diff vibe and unique architecture;

A great city for a getaway solo trip or even with friends with serene sites and historic architecture lovers.
One can never simply get enough of chilling by the lake playing with pigeons and watching the sun go down.
