A Short Stay in Hoi An

We just spent a few days in Hoi An just after our trip to Ha Long Bay. It was a beautiful guesthouse, just 3 mins from the beach by foot.

First, when we arrived, we had a room upgrade. What a grand arrival! It was a huge upstairs room with a big balcony and two bathrooms because the previous woman broke her leg and couldn't walk up the stairs.

Of course, this guesthouse had a big swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after your breakfast or after a dip in the sea. On the beach, you can rent a lounge chair for free if you buy food or drink.

This place was a few minutes away from the old city center, and you have to take a taxi. It's effortless, and there is always plenty parked everywhere. The old city center is beautiful, and lanterns fill the streets. The best moment is to see it during the night. If you feel like it, you can buy a floating lantern with a candle inside.

But we went for a fantastic meal and a cocktail break, of course. You can't resist a good cocktail when they are less than $3 each. :)

It is like a jungle around the guesthouse, and from your window, you can see the many plants. It is such a treat to wake up to this view.

The price is between, $35 & $90 a night, so you can easily and affordably treat yourself for a few nights.
