Four Seasons Lanai, Hawaii
by Besvisor
Four Seasons has 4 different properties in Hawaii. All unique in its own way but the Lanai property has to be my favorite. The island of Lanai is the only privately owned island in all of Hawaii (by Oracle founder/CEO, Larry Ellison). The island has a total population of 3,000 and Four Seasons is the only resort. This offers an exclusive level of seclusion and experiences for its guests. Larry Ellison spared no expense in renovating the resort and it shows. It's a perfect marriage of lushness and tropical beach vibe.
As the island is so remote and small, guests typically have to stay onsite for meals. However, the resort has a fabulous bar and offers great beverages and mixed cocktails.
Most people fly to Lanai via Hawaiian Air. However, Four Seasons has a private charter service that will save time and offer convenience. At only $500 per couple, each way, it's one of the best valued charter options in the industry. Available to/from Honolulu, Maui and the Big Island. In addition, be sure to book the stay through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner Advisor, (like myself) and receive additional complimentary amenities. Such as room upgrades, complimentary breakfasts, $100 hotel credit, VIP status, early check in, late check out, complimentary wi-fi. This is at no additional cost to the guests.
There's a Nobu on site. This has to be the most remote Nobu in the world and it's always a hit with guests. Guests should also take the ATV out for a ride and explore the island in an exciting fashion.
