I came here for it's history

When you come to Sarajevo you will hear many stories of the war, rape and genocide that will make your knees weak.

Life during the siege was different for a Serb, Muslim or Croat and the capital still bears the scars of its war torn past. But not all of Sarajevo is like that. There are modern parts, beautiful parts and today, it's a bustling area.

23 years later, while there's no longer any danger of being shot, people in the city remember their past, are concerned about corruption within the presidency and continuing peace in the region.
