Magical wildlife in Sri Lanka

We did a private safari with our guide Danu and one driver. He took us a bumpy road into the Kaudulla National Park and as we arrived at the open grassland we first saw those beautiful creatures. They were so calm and even came really close to our car so we could see every detail. Sadly there were so many different tours sometimes our sight was blocked by other cars. But overall did our driver a really good job locating spots we were almost by ourselves.

The safari was an amazing experience but i think the National park should limit the amount of cars at the same time, not even for the better sight, but for the animals in the first place. Even-though they were calm we are the intruders.

This little guy is the Indian Roller. It’s danu’s favorite bird and i can understand why. He doesn't looks that spectacular. But when he flys you can see his wings which are beautiful colored.
