If you are a lover of cakes and have a high appreciation for stunning fairytale inspired interiors then on your trip to London it is imperative that you add this chic 'insta-famous' bakery to your to-do list. Found in the affluent area of Belgravia this bright pink, floral facade is definitely not a sight for sore eyes. Featuring beautifully creative cupcakes, fancy cakes, and an array of other sweet treats, you can wash it down with a variety of teas, coffees and even champagne which is perfect if you’re celebrating or simply having a sophisticated ‘boozy’ afternoon tea.

I found Peggy Porschen on Instagram as the pink facade seems to be one of the most famous insta snaps taken from returning locals and travelers from near and far, it really has got a great reputation, and rightly so. This was profusely shown through the long queue outside or patiently waiting customer, luckily we didn’t have to wait too long plus it did give us a chance to get some photos!

My friend and I went around valentines day so they had decorated both the inside and outside with loads of rose petals, was really really pretty! They create specific displays for seasonality and occasions, which gives you even more reasons to go back for all the photo opts!

On our little afternoon visit, I ordered the chocolate heaven cupcake, which was absolutely out of this world, and that is coming from someone who doesn’t always have a sweet tooth! I also ordered a latte to go alongside it, winning combo by the way! My friend ordered the lemon raspberry and rose layer cake, I tried a bit and the lemon made it so succulent (slight food envy so I’ll be ordering that next time!). She had it with chelsea floral rose tea and all I heard was mhmm after every sip!

A quaint and beautiful place to go with friends, family or a loved one.
