When to go: From December to April this is the best time since it is a dry season and with few rain showers. From May to November, the season is wet and thunderstorms are very frequent. Planning during the 1-month period of Ramadan is a no-no as many hotel staff will be out for meeting families.

Choosing those which offer excursions, airport transfers, and ferry service is a good idea.
Transfer from Malè: to reach tourist facilities near Malè airport you will take a small internal flight and then you will move with a fast boat (90-170 $ each). For resorts further away from the capital, you will take the seaplane (560 $ per person). Usually, it is the agency or the structure that advises you on the transfer method.
