Beast & Butterflies, Singapore
Asian fusion restaurant with a twist

Singapore is renowned for being a delicious foodie hub within Asia. From hawker stalls at the market to up scale restaurants and quirky cafes, it has it all. Beast and Butterflies is a contemporary Asian fusion restaurant situated within the M Social Hotel on Robertson Quay.
However, this is far from your average run of the mill hotel restaurant. The decor embodies a quirky, seventies vibe complete with lava lamps, sofas and psychedelic art work on the walls. The atmosphere is laid back but upbeat and they often have live music from an in-house jazz band to entertain diners.
The star of the show though, is the menu. Featuring fresh takes on modern Singaporean dishes as well as influences from all across South East Asia, it’s the kind of place where you want to order one of each. Prices vary though the chefs recommendations are inevitably up at the pricier end of the scale at approximately $36 (SGD) for a main dish.
Stand out items on the menu were the Salted Egg Popcorn Chicken, Crispy Pork Knuckle with Tom Yum sauce and the fresh crab cakes.
