Abacus in Camana Bay in the heart of the town centre of George Town, Grand Cayman is an idyllic location to enjoy sophisticated dining in a cool and contemporary setting, whether you’re escaping the midday heat or out for an up-market evening meal.
The restaurant fosters an impressive farm-to-table philosophy and focuses on sustainability whilst ensuring that flavour is never compromised. You’ll find a mixture of classic favourites such as calamari and New York strip steak on the menu paired alongside more adventurous options. The fish of the day ceviche with scotch bonnet, infused coconut milk, cilantro and lime was a stand out dish.
As is to be expected from a restaurant so close to the ocean, seafood is rich and abundant. You’ll find everything from red snapper to lobster to an entire seafood mixed grill on the menu and of course, it’s all fresh out the local waters.
The outside patio lined by palm trees and shaded by canopies is the perfect place to enjoy lunch and peruse the extensive wine list in the balmy Caribbean breeze.
