M Social Hotel, situated on Singapore’s Robertson Quay is a vibrant hub for young city goers who want a cool, quirky stay in this famous Asian country without breaking the bank. The first thing you’ll notice upon entering the hotel is the laid back, modern lobby. The floors are tiled in a bright, Moroccan style and the reception team are wearing hooded sweatshirts and jeans.
The vibe is cool and casual and there’s even a robot - yes, a robot - cruising around delivering room service and interacting with guests! Super cool or super creepy? You decide.
Most of the rooms are loft style, many featuring the bed up on a mezzanine level. Unfortunately the most budget room, affectionally labeled ‘cosy’, is realistically too small to spend much time in, let alone unpack and feel at home. Fundamentally, none of the rooms have a particularly large square footage, instead they're cleverly designed to fit as many amenities in as possible without compromising on the urban New Yorker loft feel. You’ll find Nespresso machines, rainfall showers and from some, city views.
The facilities at the hotel are excellent. An open air swimming pool with loungers, towels and iced water, a small gym and the Beast and Butterflies restaurant which is truly fantastic.
