Animals, gelato and sunflowers!

Whilst the crowds flock to the beautiful beaches of Byron Bay, this gem on the outskirts of this Aussie hippy town provides a popular alternative activity. It’s a fully working farm, an Instagrammers dream and the perfect place to eat lunch or grab an ice cream. It’s no wonder they welcome thousands of visitors every year.
There’s a bouji restaurant and a deli serving the freshest of local produce. It’s a pleasure knowing that the food you’re eating is from sustainable sources, the farm itself, and other indie local businesses. There’s a rustic charm throughout the main buildings, which are converted barns. Grab a kombucha and a cake and pull up a seat.
The farm covers an impressive 80 acres so there’s plenty to see and do. The tall sunflower fields in particular draw in crowds in the early summer time. You’ll also find pigs and their playful piglets, horses, chickens, ducks and even a very adorable highland calf!
The Farm offers horseback guided tours which are a popular option, along with special educationally activities for kids. Aside from the two restaurants, Three Blue Ducks Restaurant and The Bread Social, there’s plenty of opportunity to buy local produce in the farm shop, pick up fresh veggies straight from the market garden and curate your indoor jungle from the beautiful flower and plant stands. Oh, and the candy-pink gelato stand is to die for!
