The Netravali Nature Reserve of Goa

How to get there and swim in the waterfall

If you’ve never ridden a moped before, make sure you practice around the quiet streets until you’re confident so that you don’t fall off like I did, cover your new tan with bruises and smash your phone screen. But they are honestly the best way to get around in Goa and are super easy to ride! Even easier than riding a bike, so don’t be scared. They will cost around £3 a day to hire and probably will make for one of the best experiences of the trip.

With your new badass scooter skills, you can ride 30 km through the absolutely stunning scenery of South Goa’s farmland and countryside, where the palm trees cover the sky and you see more green than ever. Download the Google maps area of Netravali because it’s easy to get lost! There you will find Netravali Waterfall where you can swim in the beautiful crystal clear fresh water and laze on the rocks. Start heading back around 3 because you don’t want to be caught riding in the dark where there are no street lights.

If you\x27re interested in that weird beauty treatment where the little fish eat away at your foot skin, you\x27ll love this waterfall. I think this is where they get those fish from.
