1. Batu Caves

Even though is a place packed with tourists, it’s still worth of a visit.

Walk up the 272 steps colorful steps to get to the beautiful cave, where you’ll be surrounded by monkeys.

Batu Caves is normally very busy, so you’d better get there early in the morning if you want to get some pictures without a crowd behind you!

How to get there? You only need to take a comfortable train from KL Sentral for about 1 hour (the price is about 2.50 RM).

2. Petronas Tower

This is another touristy place, probably the most famous in Kuala Lumpur, since the two towers became the symbol of the city.

Going up to the highest floor of the towers is actually a bit expensive (about 30 euro), but it is worth to just look at the towers from the bottom. They are just impressive! They look like one of those futuristic buildings that you see in sci-fi movie.

They are even more spectacular if you go there at night!

3. CHINA TOWN

Plunge yourself into this lively, colorful and unique neighborhood, very different from the modern areas, since it’s still made of traditional small buildings. The street market and the variety of food are the sparkling pearls of Chinatown. The best time to go there it’s at night, when you can admire the beautiful red lanterns lightened up!

4. KL EKO FOREST PARK

Kuala Lumpur is a very hot city. Sometimes the temperatures get very high and the only way to escape is getting inside a shopping mall. But if you had done enough shopping, you can still find some shelter inside the KL Eko Forest, a park right in the heart of the city. The most amusing part is that you walk along hanging bridges!

5. THEAN HOU TEMPLE

This huge and stunning Chinese temple is a beautiful landmark in Kuala Lumpur. Especially at night, when it’s lightened up, it looks spectacular! It’s definitely a great spots for pictures, both inside and outside.

How to get there? The fastest and easy way is to get a taxi, since there is not nearby metro stop.

The entrance is free of charge.
