KL Eko Forest Park
A Small Oasis Within The City
Kuala Lumpur can be very, very hot. Sometimes the temperatures get very high and the only way to escape the heat, is getting shelter inside a shopping mall.
But if you have already done enough shopping, you can still find some shade inside the KL Eko Forest, a park right in the heart of the city.
The garden has got a path inside, easy to walk, where you can read and learn about plants and flowers.
The most amusing part of KL Eko Forest Park, are the hanging bridges! The suspended bridges are very fun and perfect photography spots; just enjoy the walk and look over the trees and green gardens around.
KL Eko Forest is one of the green spot in Kuala Lumpur where you can take a deep breath and get away from the bustle of the big city.
Once you get out of the park, you can easily walk to the KL tower, very popular and tourist attraction. Getting on the top will cost you about 6 euro and you will enjoy a great view of Kuala Lumpur from the top.
The entrance at KL Eko Forest is free of charge!
How to get there? If you are staying in Chinatown and you feel like take a walk, you can reach the park on foot and it would take around 30 min.
If not, you can take the metro from KL Sentral and get off at Dang Wangi, but then you still need to walk at least 1 km.
Third and fastest option is to get a taxi via Grab, the most popular and cheap app to get around in Malaysia.
