Miracle Garden
A green oasis in Dubai
The Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden located in Dubai, in the Dubailand district. The garden was inaugurated in 2013, on Valentine's Day. The garden occupies an area of over 72,000 m², thus classifying itself as the largest natural flower garden in the world, with over 109 million flowers planted. In April 2015, the garden received a prestigious award, the "Moselle Award for New Garden Experiences of the Year", on the occasion of the International Garden Tourism Awards.
The park consists of a vast garden full of a thousand different types of colorful flowers, from the most common to the most rare and precious, which through the work of skilled visual designers intertwine with each other, creating incredible plays of color and forming unparalleled artistic masterpieces. The garden updates its works in every season in order to always surprise its visitors in a new way. The focal points for this season are surely: Lost Paradise, a full-scale reproduction of a town that seems to catapult the visitor into a fairy tale; Airbus A380, the representation of the plane won a first by Guinness World Records as the biggest flower structure in the world, for the world's largest floral statue; Big Teddy Bear, a teddy bear 12 meters tall; Heart Passage, a heart-shaped corridor that creates colorful optical illusions; there are dozens of other must-see corners such as the Floral Castle, Hill Top and Lake Park. Noteworthy is certainly the agreement of the garden with Disney, thanks to this the garden has the possibility of hosting works representing the famous Walt Disney characters such as the famous Mickey Mouse statue composed of 100,000 plants and flowers and by weight of 7 tons. Mickey Mouse is not the only one in the garden other Disney characters like Pippo, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy are present inside the structure.
The excellence of this park is also given by the interesting attractions scattered throughout the park. This, in fact, houses a trampoline park, an amphitheater that hosts several shops, 3d mapping but above all the butterfly garden, added in 2015, which hosts 15 thousand butterflies of 26 different genres.
The garden is only open from October to April and remains closed the rest of the year due to the high temperatures (above 40 degrees) that prevent the florists from surviving. The maintenance of the flowers is given by the reuse of treated wastewater through drip irrigation method.
The ticket price is for adults of 50 AED (about 14 dollars) and for children under 12 40 AED (about 11 dollars).
