The East Hampton Grill
A Favorite for All the Right Reasons
The East Hampton Grill, located just off of North Main Street in East Hampton, is one of the first restaurants you should dine at while visiting the Hamptons. A solid menu with sophisticated service equals an unbeatable experience. A reservation is required during the summer season, though do not be surprised if there is a significant wait time if you walk in during the winter months. It is recommended that you reserve your table at least three to four days in advance. Expect a call from the restaurant the day of or the evening prior to confirm your reservation.
The only way to start your meal is with their heavenly Rosemary Biscuits, the name certainly matches the taste. Served with a generous amount of butter and honey, it is a simple yet memorable and comforting menu option that everyone must order.
Notable entrees include the Barbecue Ribs and Jump Lump Cakes served with outrageously good coleslaw. Tuna Tartare is a masterful dish that is fun to share and is definitely one to photograph with its perfectly sliced avocado and tartare neatly piled high.
Though their dessert menu is limited (you have to ask your serve for the evening’s specials), there is usually a traditional hot fudge sundae on the menu that is always a winner. Don’t be surprised if you have no room left, their portions are generous.
