Eat at Bangla Food Market

Food market in Phuket!

The one thing I learned while doing my pre-trip research was that I needed to eat as much street food as possible.

I started off the same way I did at the Chiang Mai Market - I got a fresh fruit smoothie and walked around to scope out what I was going to eat for dinner. This market was difficult for me because I don’t eat seafood and Phuket being a coastal city, most of the food options were seafood.

During my trip I ate copious amounts of pad thai, but at this market wanted to try something different. After I finally found one chef that had more than one non-seafood options, I asked her to make me her best noodle dish. I don’t know what it’s called but it is tied for first for the best thing I ate while I was in Thailand. I will put a photo of it below.

A note about street food: I heard and read a lot of people saying that it was dangerous to eat street food because of the quality. I did not have any bad experiences but I do recommend doing your due diligence/not blindy buy or eat anything.
