A Night in The Streets of Cartegena

The streets of the Old City in Cartegena seem to come alive at nght. There is this beautiful yellow aura that lights up the night. There are street performers, street food and locals just hanging out, makes the energy authentic.

Trindad Plaza is right outside the old city but worth the excursion. the plaza is surrounded by bars and restaurants, street art and vendors. You can grab a cervesa or just chill on the steps of the church and people watch.

The highlight of my evening was when I was ambushed by two aspiring hip hop artisits, who proceeded to freestyle in spanish about me and my friends. Don’t be afraid of these guys, they are super friendly and tips are welcome.
