Craft Beer in Lisbon
Portugal is famous for its wines, but craft beers have been gaining prominence in the country. If you are passionate about craft beers, make sure you visit Marvila, the Beer District of Lisbon, and discover more about Portuguese craft beer!
Among the several craft breweries of Marvila, one that is worth to visit is "Dois Corvos" (Two Crows). Dois Corvos was born in 2013, producing different and creative craft beers and having already released more than 100 different beers! Some of them have received numerous awards in international competitions.
One of these is "Finisterra," an Imperial Porter which is among the most popular in Dois Corvos. It has the same name that the ancient Romans gave to Portugal, which means the end of the world known at that time (Finis Terrae).
What is cool about this brewery is that they have a Tap Room, a relaxed space where you can try the beers produced at the brewery, accompanied with snacks.
Tip: Ask for the Tasting Board, which comes with five different beers of your choice, for only 8€! After that, you can buy other individual glasses if you want to try other options or even buy a bottle to take home your favorite one!
Marvila is very close to Parque das Nações, the most modern neighborhood of the Portuguese capital, where you can find the world famous Lisbon Oceanarium. How about combining the visit to these two districts on the same day and finish your tour with some craft beers?!
If you are a true lover of craft beer, after leaving Dois Corvos, you can stop by "Musa," another excellent brewery in Marvila.
If you want to immerse yourself even more in the world of Portuguese craft beers, you can easily find online beer tours in the Lisbon Beer District, including visit and beer tasting in 2 to 3 breweries.
