Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal
The Annapurna Base Camp trek was an incredible experience, a journey through a landscape that changes dramatically every day. The scenery was breathtaking, from lush, terraced rice fields and dense rhododendron forests to a barren, high-altitude alpine environment. What I'll remember most is the sheer scale of the mountains. Peaks like Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (the "Fishtail Mountain"), and Dhaulagiri were a constant, humbling presence.
