Getting Lost on an Island

We spent 3 days on a remote island called Koh Rong in Cambodia

First you have to book a speed boat at Sihanoukville, don’t stay at this place over night, it’s full of chinese casino with no charm and alf finish.

The trip takes 45-60 minutes and the ticket cost $22 return.

Be careful the boat ride is quite hard with big waves. If you are sensitive or sea sick take the normal boat that takes a bit more time.

We booked a little cabin in the jungle just 1 min from the beach, this paradise was called Coconut beach, and the cost was only $16 a night.

A perfect place to relax and meditate about yourself.

The only activity is the beach or the restaurants. :) or fishing, you can rent a fishing rod for $1.

We had some sun, but it was mostly cloudy and rainy because we are in the rainy season at the end of may, the water was still really warm and enjoyable.

On our second night we had an attack of insect in our room. Because we left one light on, inside. Our bad.

But we had our room changed to an even more rustic cabin with a Robinson Crusoe feel.

So at the end we recommend this island, but only for a few nights, 3 nights is good..
