Vijecnica- Sarajevo

After I came back from the mountain and after seeing some of the craziest location in the Balkans, I had the pleasure to spend time to know better my cousin!

We both decided to go to Sarajevo to visit Vijecnica, a marvelous place! It is possible to find one of the biggest libraries of Balkans that had been burnt because of religious reasons in the past.

This place survived the long war. It has always inspired me for his variety of colors inside the building and for its own architecture.

Before being a library, it was the ancient Parliament of Sarajevo. It is now used as background by the best photographers of the world and especially for weddings!

After it is repaired, the building, now a national monument, will be used for variety of events. Its space will be used for various protocol events for all levels of government, concerts and exhibitions.
