Highlands of Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is famous for it Tea all around the world. The best quality tea can only be found in the highlands of Sri Lanka. This is mainly because of the climate and the weather. This photo was taken when I was at one of my friends lodge located in Nuwara Eliya, a city wihich is famous among tourists and Europeans as "The little England". This city if one of the main places of interests among tourists. There are few facts why this place is famous. First thing is, since Sri Lanka is a tropical country most parts of the country is quite warm and humid but Nuwara Eliya has a totally different atmosphere which is cool,calm and relaxing for any tourist. There so many places to visit if you are in Nuwara Eliya, such as a Haggala Botanical garden, a post officce which is more than 200 years old, lots of waterfalls and tea facotories as well. So I suggest if you are travelling around Sri Lanka this place is one of the must places that any trvaler should go.
