A Weekend in Moab Utah
How to spend a weekend in Moab
We were lucky enough to spend an unforgettable adventure-filled weekend in Moab, Utah!
We wanted to camp but still enjoy some amenities, so we chose to stay at the KOA campground. The showers were clean and the pool was nice and refreshing on a hot summer day.
The first day we visited Arches National Park and hiked to the iconic Delicate Arch. This arch is featured on the Utah state license plate and is one of the most recognized geological formations in the world.
We also obtained permits to hike the Fiery Furnace. It was spectacular, but it is easy to get lost in the stone labyrinth, so a guided hike is recommended.
That evening we strolled down the charming main street. We picked up some souvenirs and got a bite to eat at a cute café.
The next day we rented ATV’s and jeeps to explore a few of Moab’s famed off-road trails. We loved Hurrah Pass to Chicken Corners.
It offered incredible scenery with a few challenging maneuvers, but nothing too advanced. We packed a picnic and enjoyed this half-day adventure.
That evening we tested our skills on the Fins and Things slick rock trail. This was definitely more challenging and a true adrenaline rush!
We absolutely loved the beauty and adventure that Moab has to offer and hope to come back again soon!
