It’s no surprise that Barcade has expanded to six locations in four cities since it first opened in Williamsburg in 2004. It has a simple and foolproof recipe: Take an garge, fill it with kegs filled with craft beer and music and add dozens of classic video games. Voila! Barcade avoids the typical things that tend to cramp your style and fun: no swipe-cards, no expensive modern games, NO KIDS. You get just the arcade classics of your youth — Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Q*Bert, Tetris, Arkanoid, Dig Dug, and Centipede. And all for only a quarter. Of the three locations in New York, the original Barcade in Brooklyn has the best selection, and the best people...like me ;)
