Established in 1995, In the small surf town of Torquay Victoria and home to the well known surfbreak 'Bells Beach', Southcoast Surfshop is kind of a go to to all the beach bums in this surf-heavy town.

Their main focus are the premium handcrafted surfboards that they make using traditional methods.

They are a family owned & operated and many days you will find the owner outside relaxing in the sun, smiling as patrons bustle in and out.

Owner and surfboard afficionado, Ian Chisholm is one of the only few board builders left in today's manufacturing industry who can build premium boards from design & shapes all the way through to the finished product. He is a legend and has worked with every pro surfer imaginable. I found it so humbling that this master of craft decided to set up shop in a tiny beach town and its a reflection of how he does what he does for the love of it and for the love of the surf.

Every employee is an avid surfer so when asking about any board you know they know their stuff and have probably even tested every model out!
