A New Era of Glamour
Four Seasons at The Surf Club, Miami
When it first opened its doors almost a hundred years ago, on New Year’s Eve in 1930, The Surf Club was the exclusive and members-only hangout spot for the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor and world leaders like Winston Churchill.
Recently acquired by the Four Seasons and after an extensive renovation and new build, it opened in 2016 as the new “It” hotel in Miami. An oceanfront destination just a stone’s throw away from South Beach, the hotel is the harbinger of a new era of glamour.
The Four Seasons at The Surf Club brings an elevated atmosphere with chic designs, modern dining and world class spa; not to mention the champagne bar, Le Sirenuse. A stay here will have you feeling like you’re living in an episode of Magic City. The design and furnishings are quintessentially Miami, yet also distinct at the same time - sometimes, I wasn’t sure if I was breathing the sea air of the Atlantic or the Mediterranean.
I had the pleasure of visiting and I only regret that I didn’t have more time. It’s truly unique and brings a level of luxury and class that can’t be found at other properties in Miami.
