In high school, I delivered a winning speech in a mock-Presidential race, bridging partisan politics, with a focus on world affairs. This interest in other cultures - as well as leading, inspiring, and bringing others together drove me to international affairs degrees in DC, supporting senior leaders in US foreign policy, traveling to 52 countries, leading fundraising & outreach at a global LGBTIQ human rights non-profit, and building an LGBTIQ tourism business.
