Amanjena in Marrakech

Marrakech is so hot right now! Many are looking to visit the Red City and for good reasons. It offers some of the most fabulous resorts in the world. Amanjena is one of my favorites here. Just 5 minutes from the action of Medina, it feels like a world away. The service is above and beyond. The staff are trained to anticipate your needs and use Jedi tricks to deliver service before its even asked. Amanjena also grows and cold presses its own olive oil. It's a fantastic treat and often given to guests on departure as a gift.

The Pool

The accommodations here are truly stunning and unique. The villas are each build to reflect local Morrocan architecture yet offers all the modern amenities you'd expect. I'd highly suggest getting a villa with a pool. By using a Luxury Travel Advisor, (like myself) you can often be upgraded into it. For families, there are 2 to 3 bedroom Maisons that are two stories with private pool, garden and multiple fire pits. You feel as if you never need to leave your mansion and that's perhaps that was the intention behind the design. Many celebrities visit Amans and Amanjena is one of the favorites. We had the pleasure of staying in the same Mansion as the Beckham family. They always stay in the same mansion on every visit. It was a memorable expense for us!

The hotel offers some of the best Italian dishes in Marrakech and its authentic Moroccan restaurant is also a memorable one. The atmosphere in its Moroccan restaurant is truly something worth experiencing. It feels like you're dinning in a lavish marketing campaign for Marrakech. Like most Amans, the chefs are more than happy to create dishes for you beyond what's offered on their menus. The head chef is Italian and upon learning we love homemade gnocchi, he prepared a dish for us daily, just in case we showed up at the restaurant and were in the mood for it. We had it daily and it was fabulous!
