Le Jardin Secret

One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Le Jardin Secret opened its doors to the public. Dating back to the Saadian Dynasty, more than four hundred years ago, and rebuilt in the mid-Nineteenth century, Le Jardin Secret has been the home of some of Morocco and Marrakech's most important political figures. Located in the ancient Medina, this is one of the last treasures that Marrakech has opened to a millions of citizens and tourists. A green oasis, an interesting botanical and historical garden-museum. It is unique for a variety of vegetation.
It is an ideal place to relax after walking hours and hours throughout the day. There are two main gardens, the Exotic Garden and the Islamic Garden. The Islamic Garden is divided into 4 parts with a fountain in the center. Featuring local flora, there are olive, pomegranate, fig and citrus trees in this garden.
In the Exotic Garden, you will see colorful plants and bushes from 5 different continents. The composition of the colors and shades is amazing. Plants like aloe, euphorbia, sage, and jacaranda make this garden a paradise inside the city.
