This idyllic landscape is just a short train journey for Munich. Eibsee sits at the foot of Zugspitze, the tallest moutain peak in Germany.

In winter, the main lake is frozen. A path surrounds the entirety of the lake, taking around 2 hours in total to walk around. Every few minutes you will come across views like this hidden amongst the trees.
