Buza Beach Bar, Dubrovnik
Just outside the old town walls there are so many fabulous (and instagrammable) beach bars. Our top recommendation is Buza Bar, a less crowded place in the off season, where you can have a drink (or even bring your own!!), jump off the rocks into the most beautiful water and watch the sunset after a long day of exploring. There are many others worth checking out if you’re not on a tight budget, such as EastWest Beach Club, Cave Bar More, and Bistro Izvor Dubrovnik.
There are no rules about jumping off the rocks of these cliff edges along the bay, but do take care!! They are pretty safe to jump off at Buza Beach bar as the water is very deep there, you can even swim to other nearby cliffs and set up on a private little spot for the day like we did. Bring snacks and drinks in a waterproof bag that you can swim across, it was the best idea we had by far! Don’t forget to take your rubbish with you though, and keep these incredible ancient landscapes as serine as they are. From these beaches you can see Lokrum Island in the distance, mentioned in part 7, “Canoeing in Dubrovnik”. You’re going to want to read that one, this island brought some of the best memories out of our whole Europe trip.
