Laimai Courtyard Restaurant & Bar
On a Patong Beach, Phuket
Walking along Patong beach at sunset after a long day of sweaty shopping, we stumbled across a stunning hotel restaurant covered with fairy lit trees. The menu looked delicious and they handed us a 10% off food voucher so we decided it would be a great place to treat ourselves. It's attached to Baanlamai Patong Beach Resort.

The atmosphere was vibey and the music added to it. They had cocktail specials for 180 baht, where all the other restaurants were priced at over 200 (Around $10 AUD). The decor was stunning and it would've been a great romantic dinner date for two as well.
I ordered the Vegetarian Tofu Pad Thai, where the others opted for one of the western option and had the Beef Burger, which they seemed to enjoy.
The Pad Thai was 320 baht (roughly $15 AUD), a higher price for the traditional Thai dish, but at a place with an atmosphere like this you’re bound to pay western prices. But it was delicious and packed with veg!
There are a lot of restaurants and bars along Patong beach with a lot of different food options, many of them with happy hours ending at around 6 or 7pm too. However we loved this restaurant and if you're looking for something particular I definately recommend it.
