Monterosso al Mare - Cinque Terre pt. 4

Day four - hike to Vernazza

View of the Ligurian Sea

On our last day through the Cinque Terre, we visited two villages: Monterosso al Mare and Vernazza. Monterosso al Mare is one another typical Cinque Terre village with long stretched beaches and crystal clear water. We didn’t stay for too long though, as we hiked from this village to Vernazza, another Cinque Terre village not too far from Monterosso al Mare.

It was a pleasant hike which I recommend you do too; instead of taking the train itis a great experience to actually hike up and down the mountains themselves. It took us around two hours to complete the walk, with a few short water pauses included.

As the sun was shining lots I didn’t take these photos with my DSLR to avoid the extra weight hanging on my neck, but rather shot and edited these with my phone. (Contrary to the other stories on my profile which photos are all taken with my camera.)
