Tour Duration
The Hue street food tour lasts about 4 hours and is led by a local guide. You can choose a start time that suits you, usually at 9:00 am or 2:00 pm. If you want to enjoy Hue’s nightlife, we suggest starting the tour at 5:30 pm.
Pickup and Drop-off
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel or homestay in Hue city center and drop you off either there or at the last stop of the tour.
Hue Food Tour Itinerary
At 5:30 pm, our guide will meet you at your hotel or homestay, and we’ll start the Hue Walking Street Food Tour. Your local food expert will share some interesting facts about Hue, the Nguyen Dynasty, and Hue’s cuisine.
First stop: Enjoy three types of Hue cakes—Banh Beo, Banh Nam, and Banh Loc—at a local restaurant. You’ll learn about the ingredients and how they’re made, with the chance to try making them yourself and interact with the owners.
Second stop: Taste Hue mixed noodles with clams.
Third stop: Savor Hue mixed noodles with BBQ (Bun Thit Nuong).
Next, we’ll have the famous Bun Bo Hue (Hue Noodle Soup with Beef).
We’ll also visit a coffee shop terrace for a stunning view of Hue City and the Perfume River.
Finally, enjoy the beer-opening performance, try the delicious Banh Khoai (Hue Pancakes), sip some local beers, and receive a local gift before ending the tour around 9:00 pm.
