Le Capitaine Fracasse
If you’re looking for a romantic dining experience in Paris, you should try Le Capitaine Fracasse’s dinner cruise on the Seine. France is known for its incredible fine dining, and what better way to experience that than having a meal aboard a ship while passing the city’s famous monuments.
Dinner cruises with Capitaine Fracasse start at 65 Euros per person, with higher priced packages including drinks like wine or champagne. I personally chose the “Amiral” option which included a welcome cocktail, wine, water, and coffee in addition to the standard three course meal. The food was good, but it wasn’t the best I had in Paris. However, the experience of sailing along the Seine while enjoying dinner and the taking in the ambiance of Paris at night makes it so worth it.
If you go during the summer, you can take advantage of the open-air deck on the boat’s roof between courses. I loved taking my wine up there to enjoy views of monuments like the Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower while the watching the sunset. Paris is such a romantic city, and a dinner cruise along the Seine is the perfect way to relax while taking in the sights.
