Most beautiful place to go island hopping
Arriving at Pinagbuyutan Island
During our time in The Philippines we explored quite a few places. Our second stop of the trip was El Nido. A beautiful area south of Coron with some of the most amazing islands the Philippines has to offer. We arrived here and we knew that we wanted to go island hopping the next morning but we figured out that the first boat left arround sunrise. This was a problem as we were hoping to leave earlier so we could have first light while arriving towards the island of Pinagbuyutan. In the end we found a local who wanted to bring us before sunrise. In the following photo you can see the Island while we were making our way towards it.

As we were about to arrive to the island we got hit by a rainstorm that formed some of the most beautiful athmospheres I have ever witnessed. The tropical temperatures as well as the warm water combined with the rainstorm was something so magical to experience. We got out of the boat towards dry areas on the beach as soon as possible as everything was getting wet. After locating all our equipment in the dry areas we made our way towards the beach where we spent sometime photographing and filming this amazing experience until the rain stopped.

When we were about to enter the water the light actually came out from the horizon behind the shore. In the next image you can see what it looked like.

I can easily say that this experience made island hopping in El Nido more special than anything else could have. We were hoping for a sunny experience but could have never imagined that the rain was something we should have hoped for, haha. After the rain settled down we spent some time droning over the island and also the nearby Helicopter Island. After these two islands is was time to explore some other places our captain suggested.
