Cornwall - Porthcurno Beach

Exploring Cornwalls Pristine Beaches

Cornwall - Porthcurno Beach

No matter where you are in England, beaches are never far away. There are so many beaches around England, such as the beach in Brighton, the beaches in Norfolk, and the ones on the Jurassic coast. One thing is for sure no matter how many beaches there may be, none are as spectacular as the beaches in Cornwall and especially the Porthcurno beach.

As you approach the beach and walk along the paths provided you already feel like you are somewhere completely different. You may wonder to yourself “is this really England?”

The beach itself is small but extremely beautiful - on one side of the beach you have the waves crashing on to the rocks and on the other side a huge hill that stretches into the ocean. The sand is pristine and incredibly soft to walk on. The ocean has a lovely turquoise blue color to it and if you walk up the hill towards the Minack theatre you’ll have an aerial overlook over the whole beach and the horizon.

The locals recommended Porthcurno beach to me and I couldn’t recommend it myself more. Make sure to get there early to before people start showing up so you have plenty of time to explore.
