Thai Street Food

Phuket is a little bit too westernised than we had originally hoped for with all the heavy hitters including McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters all to be found in the main resort of Patong.

Part of the joy in going to Thailand is to escape the modernized western culture that we are all now so used to so we knew we needed to find somewhere which offered authentic and genuine Thai cuisine.

Thats when we found the night market at Malin Plaza; a genuine Thai street-food experience which offered mouth-watering Thai dishes at a fraction of the price of the food being served down on Bangla Road.

Highly recommned a visit to this market if you are staying in the Patong area.
