A Day Inside a Tea Plantation

We booked a guesthouse in the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia, a region full of hills with tea plantations all around. It's quite magical and, in my opinion, features one of the best breakfasts in Asia.

We had a traditional breakfast of iced milk tea full of sugar that taste like heaven, and of course some toast with butter and kaya, it's a paste made with coconut and sugar, you have to try it.

We booked a tea plantation tour, and the guide picked a few other guests and us up early.

After a short trip up in the hill with amazing views, you will arrive in the mossy forest, with monkeys, unusual plants and moss all around.

Then you will arrive inside the tea factory where you learn about the entire process of fabrication and more.

Finally, there is a little coffee place with a fantastic view. Of course, you have to try the tea with some scones — it was the perfect way to finish the tour.
