Petra the world wonder is undoubtedly Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction and it is visited by tourists from all over the world. To visit Petra you have two options if you are 3 or 4 people you could rent a car and go to Petra it takes 3 hours, if you are solo traveler you could travel by famous company called JETT you can google it there’s daily bus leaving Amman at 6:30 AM and back from Petra at 5 PM it cost 11 JD which equal 15.50$ USD for one way trip and for round way it cost 18 JD which equal 25$ USD, the entrance to Petra it cost 50 JD = 70.5$ USD if you have Jordan pass you can get it when you enter to Jordan it will cover all historical places so I will recommend to buy Jordan pass if you want to see all histroical places. view site to see the treasury Petra its called rose city due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved, additionally Petra is a UNESCO world heritage site since 1985. The local people who lives in Petra are Bedouins they could speck more than two languages i met someone who could specks 7 languages so it will be great experience to talk with them and experience a night with them, finally Petra one of deserve places to discover.
