Day 1 - Egyptian Musuem / Nile River
What an insane experience! We arrived in Cairo after a few long flight but wow it was worth it!
To start the day, we began exploring the Egyptian Musuem... They are currently building a new one but they’re a bit behind as the original deadline was 2012.
So many artifacts of pure gold and beautiful art you could spend forever in here... What really blew me away was how advanced the civilization was over 4,000 years ago!
Near the end of the day, we caught a said boat and went down the nile river!
Day 2 - The Great Pyramids / Saqqara
Looking back, this was my favorite day of our trip to Egypt! We begin with exploring the Pyramids... the size is mindblowing and the fact of how old they are is a sight to behol.
I went up into the heart of the Great Pyramid and truth be told it was a bit underwhelming as it was just a small room but it makes a great story!
As we circle around the back, we see an area where locals have gathered and are offering Camel rides... they were a bit easier to ride and steer than i expected.
While we stopped to take a break, an egyptian man approached us and offered us some drinks. This photo is probably my favorite as theres so much story here. Two people, two counties, two brands... coming together
We ended the day visiting the Saqqara Step Pyramid and seeing some of the ruins around. It was incredible.
Day 3 - Egyptian Mosques
To end our trip, we got to explore a few of the mosques that were in Egypt
It was amazing seeing such architecture and beauty!
As this story draws to an end, i can honestly say that Egypt was a highlight of the entire trip! Such a different but amazing culture and a place i cant wait to return!
