An Oia Landmark
Katikies Santorini
It’s no secret that Santorini is always a favorite amongst travelers. The iconic white architecture and Blue Aegean Sea are the main attractions. But my favorite place to camp out would have to be the legendary Katikies Santorini.
Set 300 ft above sea level in the cliff-top village of Oia, the glamorous Katikies is located just off the main square. Despite its secluded vibe, the hotel is actually a short walk from all the action including boutiques, restaurants and bars and just 15 minutes by car from Santorini International Airport
Katikies Hotel offers 27 luxurious suites, three infinity pools, and outstanding restaurants. Only guests are allowed on property, even for dining, it’s a truly exclusive hideout from the crowds. Whatever direction you turn to, a stunning view will surely follow.
The layout of the resort is magical and reminds you of all the best aspects of a Santorini escape. The hotel is cubist-style and built down the hillside with a series of bridges and steps.
Like most properties in Santorini, the suites are small and intimate so I would suggest booking a Senior Suite or above.
Dining is wonderful here. Fresh and well thought out. The Katikies Pool Bar has the best lunch views!
