Turquoise Bermuda
Perfect weather, beautiful beaches

Taking five days off from work to spend with the family, Bermuda offered the perfect retreat. The restaurants at the Fairmont are top notch so every night we did not feel the need to go off property. All the restaurants are on Open Table to reserve. I would definitly recommend eating at every one.
DAY 1
Spent much if the day relaxing at the beautiful private beach at the Fairmont Southampton. http://www.fairmont.com/

The check In process was pretty quick and the staff was super helpful and the rooms were as advertized. 👍🏽

Little tip, kids under 5 ear for free, only if you order at the restaurants, not on room-service or directly on the beach.
DAY 2
Explore Bermuda’s attractions, the Crystal Caves. The tour guides will open up your inner explorer with stories of how two brave kids discovered a natural wonder.

Right outside the caves is another historical staple of Bermuda. The culinary,;-) wonder of the Swizzle Inn. We needed to cool off from walking up 80 steps of a very steep exit with Dark and Stormy’s and Rum Swizzles.
Food for kids, they ate everything.

DAY 3
Back to the beaches, except this time we went exploring the various inlets and rock formations along the beaches

We packed a picnic basket and explored all day. Was amazing to see all the different ways nature carves out the natural limestone and th. Pink sandy beaches, were fun. My daughter and I built a pink sand castle.
DAY 4
Relaxed at the Aquarium and Zoo. There is plenty for the kids to see and do. The staff there have a schedule of activities for kids.

The trainers explained how they feed the Seals.

It was feeding time for us as well and so a short taxi ride to The Loren at Pink Beach was where we went. The Loren is an amazing hotel and lunch there was top notch.
Still the rest of the day to send back at the Fairmont’s private beach.

DAY 5
Pool day at the Fairmont. Last day to relax and enjoy the kids.

There are two pools, one for the kids and one for the adults.

Perfect five days with the family. And the flights from New York is only 2 hrs.
TIPS:
1) Taking Taxies around the Island is the preferred way, just bring cash its easier.
2) Bring water shoes, as exploring the limestone rocks on the beaches will cut up your feet.
3) Everything is expensive so definitly Duty Free some alcohol.
