End of 2017.. 4 Travellers.

Landing in L’Havana, in Italy we left 3 degrees but when staff opened the aircraft door we felt the summer smell!

Luggage arrived, lucky us! Let’s find a Taxi...

First stop is Gladis Home, a Casa Particulares when we booked 2 of 3 rooms.

Gladis is a very nice cuban girl, she was in Bergamo, she like mojito and dance and she is very nice with us.

She prepared a Mojito as welcoming drink and give us some advices about how to spend the night.. We know that it is too late (around 2 am) but it is stupid lost a night in L’Havana.

In the home there is a third room whit 2 girl from costa rica, one is very nice, the second is a bedside table. We talk a lot with their, but I didn’t know spanish and they didn’t know Italian or english, so talk was very difficult! after the showers we decided to go out..

A little Problem - there was not hot water, shower was cold or with boiled water.

Walking on the street we didn’t felt in safety, no light, people look strange, but nothing happens because it was only suggestion.. We find a place and start to drink, dance and talk with Cuban.. This night I met for the first time Mike, a Cuban Guy that talk “Napoletano” but he believed that it was italian.

Around 5 am we were leaviang to go to sleep but in the street we met another Cuban Character, Melo! He is tall and skinny and start with a question, where are you from?

When we said “Italy” he start to make fun of us, because it was early for italians.. Italians go to home after 7! At the end he brought us in a club with him for drink something..

Cuban are very kind, but the are perfect seller, we spent 50 euro in a second! After that he start to propose other thing,s but we refuse all.. As last offer he want to bring us in a house to see particular religious statues, and we accept..

The house is very messy, there are statues everywhere, and the owners seem disreputable. Let's take a walk, say hello to Melo and go away.

In one night we talk with a lot of people and the day after we met again the same guys in the street. It look like everybody already know u. But we was in Cuba just from 12h.

In L’Havana we spend 4days to see city and nightlife. I was impressed from people that dancing in the strret, in the Marecon, everywhere.

the day 3 we ask Gladis to organize a trip to Vinales, a village famous for Tobacco Plans.

We took 2 hours to arrive there. In the street there was no rules, no signs.. People cross without line, sometimes you could meet people on the hourses, but was normal to Javier.

In Vinales a man show us how to do Cigar and we took an house in order to go around the farm

in the farm we smoked best Cigar ever, drink very good rum and coffee and eat amazing honey.. We bought all stuff but the quality was not the same... Classic in Cuba!

After the farm visit we go to have lunch, in a typical restaurant that Javier knows.. We ask h to join us and we will provide for him bill. He was too shocked because it is not normal.

Darin the lunch Javier talk a lot, about home family, him story and him car but also about strange thing in Cuba.. We were very intrested!

After lunch Javier brought us to see a Cav. But we was already satisfied, and we did not find the cave very interesting

The day after during a walk a guy start to talk with us in the street.. in some minutes we was sitting in a var to drink mojito. His name was Miguel and he was very likable as all cuban but we know he wanted to sell us something, but we will not buy anythings.

Jump to the last day of the year! This night a couple had book1 of our room, so 2 of us had to change house! The next one was the Lionel home!

In Gladis home the new two people were a coulple of italian guys! The girl look very problematic and we said good luck to the boyfriend.

Lionel is a fathe,r he live with his family in a big house and he rent a floor! Here the hot water in the shower come from an electric motor inside the shower! I think i. Was very dangerous because sometimes you could be electrified But nobody died, or that is what he told us!

in the afternoon we decided to go in the best hotel to drink the expensive rum with the Cuban cigar and cheers to the new year in Italy (in Cuba it is around 7 pm).

Ready for the night, we go in Gladis house and we found her. She told that she will rest at home to avoid that some people could steal from house during the last day of the year party! So after a dance with he. We go out to dinner and took a bottle.. We come back to the apartment to open the champaigne with Gladis and say goodbye to 2017.

We start a tough of the steet in l’Havana and we met again Miguel, he was talking with a couple of Chineses that listen him.. In front of the door of an hous. There were a lot of vary ugly girl (1 was pregnant) that invite all man to soon the night with their.. we continue the walk and we found a place with a family that doing a party and invite is to drink! of course we accepted!

After that, Salvo go sick and he rest at home to sleep. We decided to go in the european club, and we start to looking for a taxi!

It was so hard, we found one after 30 minutes but when we go inside we saw that the driver was very drunk and we go out!

the research start again. I seen a deuce girl go in side a taxi alone and i catch the opportunity to ask to share it. She accepted and at the end she come in the club with us.

The girl name is Micha but she look not nice.. we are in the Fantasy Club, this time very different from all other club in Cuba. here the atmosphere is like europium and also cuban people look rich.

The morning we leaving the city to move to Baya des Cochinos.. During the trip nobody talk we was destroyed.

At the end of 4hours we arrived in this place so quiet, silent and peace, there was not cars, but the people moving by hourses,there were not a lot of house and near the resort a lot of bungalow were destoyed maybe from the sea.

There we meet Kabut, an indian guys from London that travel alone. the night I and dave go out with him.. There was nobody, only a bar and we sit there to talk a bit! He told us about diving and we join him the day after!

Diving was an unique experience, I never done before and I think that most impressive moment was when you see the surface from the deep but you connot say when thE backdrop end...

We spent 1 day to Baya des Cochibos and we moved to Trinidad.. Other 4hours by car...

We had almost arrived to the city but the car breakdown.. The deiver became a mechanics and he repaired the car either some issues.

In the new house live a family, the man is a cocker and we decided to do breakfast lunch and dinner there.. the food was very good.

Trinidad is totaly different from L’Haven, it is quiet and has a colonia structure.. there are no car, people move bywalk or houre.

Cash de la musica is for sure a must.. Good music and very cheaper deinks, it wolf be better if we knew how to dancing.

During the tough we met a man from the mountain and he told us that when he come there is no the same weather, it is cold and he came to the town to find some dresses.. We offered money but he had no interest, he looking for dress.. We chief a meeting point for the night and we came back home to find something to give him, but we had just summer clothes.. We did our best, and try to give the most hot clothers in our bags.

Nightlife is good, there is a disco inside a Cave, eryday impressive! Sometimes the feet could go inside a puddle of water but it a feature of the place.

Close to the town there are a lot of beatify beaches and in the afternoon we gone there

The last City of the tour is Varadero, this time we book a 5stars resort.

At the end I an say that was a very bad choose because it was like stay in a Europe place, we miss the Cuba magic atmosphere.

After three days we leave the resort, come back to L’Havana. We slept again in the Lioness home. The day we gone to say bye-bye to Gladis, she called a driver and we move definitely to the airport
