Goldeneye : The Birthplace of James Bond

Author Ian Fleming while on a mission to investigate U-boat activies in the Caribbean during World War II became enamored with Jamaica. He loved Jamaica so much , especially Oracabessa , just 20 minutes from the resort town of Ocho Rios that he bought 15 acres of land where he built his home which he named “ Goldeneye” after a secret WWII mission . Ian Fleming went on to write all 13 James Bond novels at Goldeneye , and his love for Jamaica was endless till his passing in 1964.
Now an Island Outpost property , Goldeneye welcomes actors , actresses and James Bond fans like myself .
