Frenchman’s Cove

Frenchman’s Cove Beach in Port Antonio, Jamaica, is one of my favorite beaches in Jamaica period. It’s a private beach, primarily accessible by car. When you enter you'll feel like your in Thailand or Bali as you have to walk through a lush garden/forest to get there. Once you get to the beach, you feel like you've found a hidden part of paradise. There is a fresh water river that runs directly into the ocean, which creates this emerald green colored water that is simply breathtaking.

The Main Beach

When you arrive make sure you swim in the water adjacent to the main beach. It has a famous swing that you must climb on for the ultimate photo op.

There is a restaurant on site, where you can order drinks and food and have it brought directly to your beach chairs. This is definitely an all day type of activity. You can eat, swim, drink, sun bath and take amazing photos in what will feel like your own private beach.
