Mount Bromo: Chasing sunrise
Exploring the Bromo neighbourhood
A friend and I visited this amazing volcanic crater called Mount bromo, some people even mistake Bromo to be the one of the right of the cover photo, but is actually the one on the left which has the continuous sulphur smoke coming out of it.
Start your day very early like 4:00am to get up at the sunrise point before everyone, as it gets really really crowded & remember to layer up as it gets a bit chilly up there early in the day.
Trek up to the sunrise point ain’t long but is very steep and having to walk up so early in the day when you haven't even woken up properly, can get a little tiring, and you may find yourself taking short breaks inbetween, if you are into nightscape photography, you might as well click a few on your way up while the sun has-not risen.
The view from the sunrise point is mesmerizing and the best conditions for the low laying clouds but well we were not lucky enough to experience, when we arrived it was all foggy and the view of Bromo was all clogged up, but well had to settle for whatever we got.
After waiting for a while at that spot we gave up and trekked down to the go up to the actual Volcano and have an experience of that.
Hired horses from the point where our jeep dropped us.
Walking on the edge of this volcano was just as i had imagined!
Absolutely incredible experience.
